Select a row(record) in a portal and show related record in other portal

Hi, I need help on my DB, I have two portal ( first his Projet and second his Phase). I want to select (on one click) a row in the first portal and have apear the related record in the second. Can you help me on this....I came from ''access'' and I'm new too Filemaker and I realy love it!!!!

I'hope it's write correctly because I'am not bilingual...sorry.

You can have it so that when you click on the record in the first portal, it sets a global field with the key recordID and then the relationship for the second portal would be based off from the global field to the related table.

IOW, create a new relationship with your key fields being the global field and the foreign key of your related table. Then reference that relationship for the portal.

It's me again, I have difficulty to extract the Project_ID who is show in the protal row. I check the ''Viewer table'' on your site, but it's don't help me to extract the Project_ID

I have too quit, but I check it rapidely and it's work very good and I want that in my DB. But I try it before and it's don't work. I'm gone a check my relationship based on your.
