I have a script that will select an object that is a field, but what is the next step to get the cursor in that field ready for editing?

Doesn't the Go to Field step do this for you?

How are you using objects when you do not have 8.5?

The goto field can not be done with a variable, I would have to setup a dozen conditions to make it happen.

So I guess the question is how can I goto a field with a variable.
