Why aren't my table occurrences showing up?

I'm trying to generate a Looked-up Value for a particular field and the 'starting with' table occurrence I want and need doesn't appear in the drop down list.

I'm 100% sure it there and when I look for it as if I was going to create a Calculated Value it shows up in the drop down list there.

I believe it only shows occurences of the same table where the field is - similar to the choices you get to 'Evaluate this calculation from the context of...'. It wouldn't make much sense otherwise.

I think you might be misunderstanding what I'm saying.

The 'Evaluate this calculation from the context of...' list is different depending upon whether I am use the Auto Enter a Calculated Value vs. Auto Enter a Looked-up Value and they should be the same.

Sorry, I am not following you. When you define a lookup, the choices for 'Starting with table' are limited to the occurences of the current table (the table where the field being defined resides).

Similarly, when you define a calculation, the choices for 'Evaluate this calculation from the context of' are also limited to the occurences of the same table.

At least that's what I think - and as I said, it wouldn't make sense otherwise. If you are seeing something different, please post a demo file.
