March 7, 200718 yr I have a layout that contains a filtered list of results. In this example, it is a quoter database. I have user preferences table that is related to one table instance of quotes to list items based on user filter settings (active quotes, closed quotes, and quote date range) My boss is being picky, and complained about not being able to use the arrow keys (shesh, make everyone happy by giving users the ability to use the scroll wheel, and the boss wants to use arrow keys!) Is there any way a user could use his keyboard to scroll a portal up and down?
March 7, 200718 yr I don't believe that there is any specific setting for this. As far as I know you can not use the arrow keys to move from record to record. You can however use the tab key to cycle through any number of fields in a record and when it gets to the last one it will jump to the next record. Shift+Tab goes in reverse. Unless he uses the Tab key to go from field to field you can set your Tabs for only the first field of each record. Then everytime he hits Tab or Shif+Tab it will go to the next or previous record.
