able to adjust height of tab + able to assign the button to it.

how many times i had to give up using tabs because i couldn't assign a script to it.

The height of the tab can be kind of controlled by the font type and size the one that you choose for the tab names.

I usually make my tabs name a bunch of spaces formatted at a certain font & size. Then I put text boxes on top of each tab in the font and size I want the useres to see for the actual tab names.

As for being able to have script fire on the tab itself, yes it would be nice to have a script attached to a particular tab, but this can be replicated with a couple of buttons and implementation of this technique to cover the real tabs. I just throw my buttons that look like tabs in new tab that is used via the technique.
