ok here we go. i have been trying to figure out this problem since friday. I am using this code to call a field to show up on my web page [FMP-field:CADDrawing Notes]. The field name is correct, it is on the correct layout, and all the other cdml codes on the page work. can anyone think of any reason it might not be working.

is it possible that is has to do with the fact that the field in filemaker has alot of information on it.. it is the only field i am using that runs more than one line.

Could the problem have anything to do with the fact that the field was originally on another layout, and i then moved the field to the layout that i was calling the information from. As far as i can tell there is no reason this should not work.

oh yeah. one more thing. i tested the page with instant web publishing to see if the field would show up. and it shows up just fine. I can't figure this one out. If it shows up in instant web publishing then why shouldn't show up in custom web publishing.

Well i fixed it. it ended up being really simple. The Field was not showing up in the web companion configuration option. But it's in there now. So it is working fine.
