fp7 file not opening in FMS 8.0

Hi all. I just did an upgrade from Pro 7.0 to 8.0 and also Server upgraded from 7.0 to 8.0. But after transfering the files to the server 8.0 ver, the fp7 file could not open, hence cannot connect remotely to the data file. Can any one suggest how I can go about it.

Note: On trying to start the data file(fp7) in Server 8.0 it shows Checking then switches back to Closed status.

Your file has probably failed its consistency check. Close all files and stop FIleMaker Server. Then open the file in FIleMaker Pro and save a copy as compressed (compaccted) and use that copy. [color:red]Do not attempt to recover the file.
