fields not printing

Hi everyone,

When trying to print in FileMaker, all fields print blank.

This is appearing in the print preview as well, not just the hard copy.

All non-field objects, like text and graphics, are printing fine. But any data from the database is not showing.

This is happening for all fields in all layouts, not just one.

The print and print preview only give one page, not as many pages as there are records in the find.

I was going through old backups of the database, and this problem goes back about a week---olded backups don't have the problem. I honestly can't think of what I've done in that time that would cause this problem. I was mucking about with layouts, but not anything that should affect FM like this.

Any help would be much appreciated! I'm really at my wits end trying to figure out what the problem might be.

Thanks!

David

Check that the print setup option is to print all records maybe??

Thanks for the suggestion, Phil.

Did you mean as in "print all pages"? That's checked, so that's not it...

In the Print dialog, there's a pull down menu that says "Copies & Pages". Change that to "FileMaker Pro" and then check the appropriate radio button to print either the "Records being browsed" or "Current record".

Thank you thank you thank you!

I have no idea why this changed on its own, but that seemed to do that trick.

Thank you!

David
