Creating a specfic search button

Featured Replies

Hi guys,

I'm having a little brainache here and wonder if you could be so kind....

I would like to create a button that transfers to a layout with a list of selected fields in a single table, all records in which having been selected as a result of one field being a 'N' value. I have been looking into this, but it seems that I need to code the button to perform the search as well as jump to the list and I have no idea what functions to use.

The basic idea is to hit the button and see all records that contain a N in the specified field.

Your help is much appreciated.

Cheers

Rich

EDIT: No worries - i found the 'Perform Find' function and that did the trick. Sometimes just asking the question gets me thinking of the problem... :(
