I'm trying to develop a shipping database for my company. I'd like to be able to put several items onto one shipping label. So when I enter the barcode/unique number for the item, all of its information comes with it.

I started by using portals, but it just keeps copying the same barcode down the entire shipping label instead of letting me enter many items.

This is a kind of "I'm working on my car and it's not running" question. Since my Clairoyant(question) function has been broken for some time, how about a little more information about you file structure, relationships, and scripts. wink.gif" border="0

Sorry if I was unclear....

Each record consists of all the information on an incoming tape. I'm

working at a small FX house. We'll often get original tapes from our client

and my plan is to be able to log them into the database and log them out.

The information that's included in each record (ie each tape) is

1. Date arrived

2. Type of tape or media

3. Job Name and Number

4. Description of what's on the media

5. Who entered it.

6. Who shipped it out.

7 Date shipped

8. Shipping information

Now, there are many tapes on each job and so I was hoping to come up with a

shipping label where I could input as many tapes onto a single label. This

could then be shipped out as an inventory list of sorts.

Internally, we would also know where that tape is at all times.
