Find will not find last entry

this is really messing with my mind, I have a database in which I auto input info from another database. I then need to "find" the last record entered, I have a script writen to do this. Everything works just fineup to the point where it performs the find. I get a message saying there are no matching records. The records are showing in Browse and I can do a find on any other record except the last record in the file. Any ideas?

Was the record that you entered committed? If so, a find wouldnt be necessary to see the last record in browse mode. All you would need it a Go to record [last]... If I am understanding you correctly that is.
