Find isn't working for me in this particular scenario....

Featured Replies

All I want the find to do is search a customer table and pull up the customers info. In this scenario there are two tables being used, searching from one to the other. Entering "Find" only seems to search the current table the layout is designed around. I would appreciate any information you can share. BTW.... I have looked on the forum here and also FMP help and can't seem to get it to work.

I will probably do this in a portal field too, is there any difference when working with find in a portal?

Thanks

Dave

This is how FMP works.

Performing a find in a related field (portal) finds the local records that have a related record that matches the search criteria. It might work for you.
