Newbies Edv Posted April 24, 2007 Newbies Share Posted April 24, 2007 Is it possible to lock just one record (or several) in a database so that it can not be modified in Browse mode? Thanks, Ed

Newbies Edv Posted April 25, 2007 Author Newbies Share Posted April 25, 2007 Thanks, Stuart. That was the clue I needed to help me figure it out. I set a Guest account to have a custom privilege set that was slightly limited -- just by editing records only with FieldName1 NOT EQUAL to "XYZ" All other privileges were left full. Then I set the file so it opened via the Guest account -- not Admin. That one record is now locked. Thanks again!
