A fundamental concept: html is primitive, and the rendering is not consistent between beowser types, versions and platforms.

Trying to get a web page to look identical to a FMP layout is almost impossible unless the FMP layout is sooo basic and primitive.

In my work I design the web interface independently to the FMP interface. Partly because it's folly to try to get them looking similar, but mostly because from an interface and operational perspective the web and FMP client are cery different animals.

Hi, I want to know how I can make a layout appear as it is on my database in

the webpage?

I am pretty new to CDML and I have try to publish my database teh same way

the buit in publisher does.

Any help will be apreciated.

Design is handled through html. How good you are with writing html is what is important to your stated goal. The tags of cdml merely allow a convenient interface between the browser and the database without the need to write cgi code.
