A script for using field values from other files?

Hallo,

I am looking for a way to create a script, with which I can insert a field value from another file automatically.

By pressing a button in File B, the serial key from File A should be insert automatically into File B.

Is there a way.

This is opposing relational mechanics I'm afraid! You make the other files field accessible by referencing a keyvalue by which the link i made, only when a present state of a fluctating value needs documented are lookups justified ...so the key to it is linking on key values!
