Auto-sizing fields when printing - expanding, not triming

Featured Replies

I'm wondering if there is a way to auto-expand a text box when printing to allow all text within a field to be displayed.

For example: There are 6 lines of text to print. The field in the layout is sized to 4 lines. Is there a way to auto-expand that field upon printing to allow all 6 lines to show?

I presume that you mean that the layout that you are showing the user on your monitor is set to 4 lines.

In which case you might consider doing a seperate layout for printing where the fields are expanded to the max size expected for the field and then use the slide options to shrink the fields back to the actual (content) size.

This change of layout (along with the print command and back again to the original layout) can be scripted and then attached to a button
