Newbies mnbenz Posted May 6, 2007 Newbies Posted May 6, 2007 How about being able to view your scripts by script name )sorted alphabetically)?
fabriceN Posted May 7, 2007 Posted May 7, 2007 Yes ! this is a feature I've been missing for years ! and not only scripts... every list ! (custom functions as well). More, if these list could be organised in folders, it would really be handy a group of fields, or scripts, that you could show or hide, like in Windows Explorer view.
Newbies Bodgegoblin Posted May 8, 2007 Newbies Posted May 8, 2007 A must! Now that a complete FileMaker solution can be contained within one file there needs to be a way of grouping scripts in as many ways as possible(ie, fabrices mention of folder heirarchy, alphabetically, custom order). I work with over 150 FileMaker files(in FM8.5.. FM6 legacy) and each contains roughly 50-100 scripts. This is (reasonably) manageable because they're spread across many files - If this was all in a single file I'd be verging on a breakdown by now.
