In case you're new to BackMagic...

  • BackMagic lets you easily add browser-like Back and FWD buttons to your solution *without* requiring that you script your navigation.
  • BackMagic simply watches you navigate and remembers the layouts you've visited, their active tabs, and status area state.
  • BackMagic is free for you to use anywhere, and to modify and extend as you see fit (provided that you keep the attribution to SeedCode in the custom functions & calc).
  • Requires FileMaker 8.5, five custom functions, one unstored calc, and one script (for going back or fwd).
  • You can easily add multiple tab support to your currently deployed copies of BackMagic. Instructions can be found here.
