Can you change the order of records in a Portal?

I would like to reorder the records that appear in a portal. Can this be done using the small black up and down arrows that appear in a sort dialog box? Or in the scriptmaker dialog box?

Basically it's a click and drag the record to the row number you want it to be. Click row 5 and drag it to row 1 and then it becomes row 1.
