Records Being Browsed printing every other record...???

Featured Replies

One of our users here is complaining that when they try and print labels for all records being browsed it's only printing every other label. The funny thing is I cannot reproduce this problem. When I print the same set of records they're trying I get them all.

I did stumble across a forum from a google search where a guy using FM 5.0 mentioned that if you try and print records being browsed it will print every other record but then he doesn't say anything about a fix...just that you should avoid trying it.

So right now I'm stuck with users griping at me about this problem that I cannot reproduce (they're in a remote building, of course.)

Any information I can get on what might be causing this problem would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I'm going to guess it is a margin setting(upper/Lower) due to them using a different printer. I have seen issues like that here as we have about 9 networked printers here. Can't really give you a fix other than messing with it til it prints properly on their end.

We were seeing the same problem (and yes of course it's always the printer farthest away from your office). Changing to their printer in print preview then going to layout mode revealed that the layout (a list) was overextending the width of page margins for that printer by just a hair (forget that it should just crop and move on).

At any rate futzing with the layout to get everything within a single page width on that printer fixed the problem.
