We have had FM7 and in myt scriptsteps I have created new windows and put them outside the screen so that they are not viewabale by the users Possision -100 for example in the New Window script step. Now in Filemaker 8.5 this doesent work, and that makes the the new window pop up viewabale to the users. How do I hide the windows?

This is a bug in 8.5.

you may consider freezing the current window and just switching layouts and returning to your original layout at the end of your process.

although the window will still appear you could make your window size 1px by 1px? at least it will be smaller.
