Neuronal Nerd Posted June 10, 2007 Posted June 10, 2007 This is my first database, so I suspect the solution will be obvious to somebody. I set up 4 tabs and then I entered fields within each of those tabs. Everything looks just fine when I am in layout mode, but then I switch to Browse mode and each tab contains all of the fields from each of the other tabs, resulting in a big mess! Any suggestions as to why this is happening and what to do about it? Thanks ahead for replys.
Greg Hains Posted June 10, 2007 Posted June 10, 2007 Hi Brad. I am fairly new to this as well, but had the same problem in the beginning. Just ensure that none of the fields exceed the boundary of the tabbed area, oterwise they seem to become part of everything or nothing. Greg
Neuronal Nerd Posted June 10, 2007 Author Posted June 10, 2007 Thanks Greg. I'm not sure why, but just nudging the tabs a little down and to the left fixed the problem. I don't exactly understand what I just did, but it seems fixed.
Greg Hains Posted June 10, 2007 Posted June 10, 2007 No problem. I've been getting many questions answered from this forum for weeks now from other people, and this was my first contribution back - sort of a warm fuzzy feeling. lol Cheers, Greg
Genx Posted June 10, 2007 Posted June 10, 2007 Lol Greg : Brad, were your tabs partially in the header by any chance?
Genx Posted June 11, 2007 Posted June 11, 2007 Okay well -- general FM note, make sure you've never have things crossing over parts.
