Gobbled Fonts

Sometimes reports or printouts will generate gobbled fonts.

Does anyone know the cause/remedy?

I've seen garbled fonts due to corrupt fonts, in which case the remedy is to change your fonts on that layout to something else and/or replace the bad font. Another option you might try is to slightly increase the field heights. Hard to say much more without knowing more details.
