I have a development version and production version of my database. I have some new tables in the development that I would like to move over to the production version. Is there an easy way to do this or do I have to recreate the tables from scratch.

Can you clarify the version?? FM5 didn't use tables.

Sorry -- I'm on 8.0

In FM8/8.5 you can import a table within the Import Records dialog. Use the "New Table" option from the Target pull-down menu at the upper right.

You'll have to deal with scripts, layouts, and value lists separately.
