Vista Issues

Featured Replies

While beta testing my app in vista, I am told the colors and graphics convert to a basic scheme and look like crap. How do I fix this issue, or is there even a way to fix this issue? Thx :o

Yepper, I sure am. My beta tester says on his vista, it gives an error for the FM runtime saying that Windows Vista has to revert the color scheme to Vista basic, and then the graphic images are like something from the windows 3.11 era.

It seems like there is a problem with 8.2 v2 for Vista. The graphics and color scheme are not compatable and revert to a basic scheme with crappy graphics. Is there something that can be done to make the graphics and colors remain the same as when developed, or do I need to buy Vista (which is not a proven product as of yet) and develop on it? That would be not a good thing...

So are you using internal FM graphics or external graphics -- I don't get this problem on vista

I am using both, but the main issues appear to be in the images I import to FM for use as buttons and images.

Hmmm,

I've got a client running on Vista, I'll take a look tommorow and see if i get what you're getting.
