Way around the hard page limit

Is there a way to increase or remove the page limit per record? Right now it's 12, which is a problem for what I'm doing. What is the point of this artificial limitation?

Structural deficiency?..

Yes FileMaker is to blame for this (kind of lame too given the number of characters you can store in a text field), but surely you can construct a work around in your table structure to decrease the number of pages to less than 12?

I.e. if you were printing a book for example - seperate into chapters, or paragraphs as opposed to storing a 400 page book in one field.
