Newbies Ataru Posted June 28, 2007 Newbies Share Posted June 28, 2007 Does anyone know of a plugin for Filemaker, so Filemaker can interact with the Metrologic reader. I know that if I have FM open, and the cursor in the correct field, the reader will put the number code in that field. What I need is have Filemaker get active when the reader reads a barcode, and put the number in the correct field. jasonwood Posted August 20, 2007 Share Posted August 20, 2007 For what you want, I believe you need a serial scanner rather than a keyboard wedge (or HID) scanner. Then you can use the Troi serial plug-in to manage the scans, bring the app to front, put in correct field, etc. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
