tv_kid
Sorry for the dumb question, but I'm primarily a Mac user. I have a client who has somehow stored the login details to a database, and no whenever he logs he is not given the option of entering different account details. I assume that he can hold down the Shift key when starting the database, but how can he remove the auto login entirely? Thanks in advance
mr_vodka
Look under the file options. There is an option to specify a user account when opening the file. remove it.
Fenton
If he has the Full Access account/password, then it's under File, File Options, [x] Login using...
tv_kid
Thanks for the speedy responses guys, however, I don't think that is the problem. Auto login is not set in the Filemaker file, and the client does not have full access to the file. There are two different accounts set up for the client in the file, one for 'admin' access, the other 'user' access. Could the problem be that the 'user' account name is the same as the clients' Windows account name? If so, how do we go about taking off the automatic login? mr_vodka
Are you using External Authentication with Active Directory?
tv_kid
Yes I believe they are. However, the account that is automatically logging in is not set to Authenticate externally. I don't have any experience in this area, can you help? Thanks
