cbntor Posted July 3, 2007 Posted July 3, 2007 Been trying forever on this one: I have a list of products that have been delivered to different vendors in different provinces. For instance, Ontario receives 34 products in total but to various addresses. I need to be able to automatically calculate, based on the found set of records, the total number products sent to the provice. I've been trying for weeks but can't get any summary like field to work.
Ender Posted July 3, 2007 Posted July 3, 2007 Your desired breakdowns are not clear to me, but in general, use sub-summary parts for each breakdown. When the found set is sorted by the part's break field and the layout is viewed in Preview mode or printed, the sub-summary parts will show. In your case, you might have parts set up like this: Header ------------ Sub-Summary by Province ------------ Sub-Summary by Vendor ------------ Sub-Summary by Address ------------ Footer
