I am asking if there is any way to send an export from a filemaker file ( A tab delimited file) to a field in filemaker for later use.

maybe I am saying this wrong.

I would like to know if instead of exporting to a tab delimited file-( say I was using one line raw addresses) say I have 100 of those records. I would like to get those 100 one line records with their tab delimited spaces into one text field of my database. Is there anyway to do this.

Go to a Layout with all fields on it in the (tab) order desired

Copy all records (using script step or alt key + copy menu command)

Paste into single field.
