:( What are the steps to sharing FM Database file on network.

I have developed a db and I am now ready to share it with my associates.

I do not have the slightest clue on how to set this up. I will host file on my computer and will have 3 client logging on to it.

What do I do?

I am on a MAC platform

Take a look at the info in the User Guide about peer to peer sharing.

In the Privilege Sets for the Accounts that you want to allow access, be sure that the Extended Privilege called fmapp is checked. This turns on the sharing.

You must first launch the program on your machine with you copy of FileMaker Pro. Thes the remote users launch teir own copies of FIleMaker Pro and in the File-->Open Remote dialog, select the name of the file and connect.
