Fancytricks Posted July 17, 2007 Posted July 17, 2007 Hi there, I am a filemaker developer and for the life of me can't get apache to start after I install the web publishing engine. I am using FileMaker Advanced 8v4. ERROR AS FOLLOWS: """""" Processing config directory: /private/etc/httpd/users/*.conf Processing config file: /private/etc/httpd/users/kylergibson.conf Syntax error on line 1 of /Library/FileMaker Server/Web Publishing/web-configuration/WEB-INF/conf/mod_jk.conf: Cannot load /usr/libexec/httpd/mod_jk_fm.so into server: (reason unknown) """ If I comment out this line of code in "/etc/httpd.conf" it starts fine, but the web publishing won't start then: Include '/Library/FileMaker Server/Web Publishing/web-configuration/WEB-INF/conf/mod_jk.conf' Any Ideas would be great, as i have tried this on about 5 machines now.
Vaughan Posted July 17, 2007 Posted July 17, 2007 What version Apache are you running? It might not be the version that FMAS likes. Check the documentation...
Fancytricks Posted July 17, 2007 Author Posted July 17, 2007 I am running apache 1.3 Just spoken to FM and it is a known issue : yippy.
fmpwnerer Posted July 17, 2007 Posted July 17, 2007 (edited) Did support get the issue resolved? If so, can you post the fix? Edited July 17, 2007 by Guest
Fancytricks Posted July 18, 2007 Author Posted July 18, 2007 Hey there, I finally got the web app working. You have to make sure that apache is running while it is installing. However the web app came up with an "unexpected error" (got to love those, and if it was so unexpected how come it was in bright red on the top of the page), which means i can't save the session. It works nicely with IIS, so run the web tools and server off the pc and link them to the mac. The solution was GET FILEMAKER 9 SERVER. hummm insteresting.
