July 30, 200718 yr Hello All, Ive got the data in my records just about cleansed. A have one field in particular with lets say the following details. ENG_1R (AEB ) MAT_3D (AJK) LAT_2Y (AJK AEB ) IT_2I (UAE ) I would like to remove the space before the bracket ends so record 1,3 and 4 would have the endings (AEB),(AJK AEB) and (UAE). Ive created a looping script with the TrimALL command but that removes all the spaces. Anyone have an idea of just removing the spaces in the brackets. Thanking all of you guys in advance.
July 30, 200718 yr Why dont you just keep it to something simple and use: Substitute ( field; " )"; ")" )
July 30, 200718 yr Author Thanks Mr Vodka, I'll try that...now why didn't I think of that!. Ive already got a substitute in that field doing some cleansing - and I thought, I can always add another "[]" with your code!
