August 3, 200718 yr We're getting ready to migrate to FMP 9, FMPA 9 and FMSA 9. I want to test the new eAuthorize 4.0 plug-in with our solution, but I wanted to verify that I'm not going to screw anything up. If I open our database-- hosted on FMSA 8-- with FMP 9, it won't screw up the database for existing FMP 8 clients, right?
August 3, 200718 yr You'll be fine. They all have the .fp7 extension. The only thing you might see is if you use some of the 9 features such as Scripts in folders it won't show that way if you open the same file using 8. Michael
