Play a different script each time in another script

Featured Replies

I would like to play a different script each time I have another script run. Somehow I need to place a calculation or script steps within the script "Change"

Each script deals with formatting the text differently.

the scripts are

"garamond", "arial"," gadget"

and the main script is "Change"

Another way to look at this question is how do I play a random script from this list "garamond", "arial", "Gadget"

Help is always appreciated

There is probably an easier way to do this but this will work for you. In your script, use the set variable command:

Set Variable[$numtest ;

Let([$num = Int(Random * 10)] ;

Case(

$num = 0 ; 0 ;

$num = 1 ; 1 ;

$num = 2 ; 2 ;

$num = 3 ; 0 ;

$num = 4 ; 1 ;

$num = 5 ; 2 ;

$num = 6 ; 0 ;

$num = 7 ; 1 ;

$num = 8 ; 2 ;

$num = 9 ; 0

))

]

Now all you have to do in your script is create an if statement:

if[$numtest = 0]

perform script[garamond]

else if [$numtest = 1]

perform script[arial]

else if [$numtest = 2]

perform script[gadget]

end if
