FMS Admin Console is 90 seconds fast

Featured Replies

I noticed that the FMS Admin Console application was showing the server date and time 90 seconds in the future.

Any one seen similar, or account for it?

It's part of the "forward-looking" features of FileMaker Server.

You're comparing this to what? The displayed Server clock? Maybe check the network time server to see if the CPU is synchronized to it.

...or maybe it's just a little more "Advanced" than I thought.

I checked the clocks on both client and FMS host. As they are both being fed from the same NTP server then they are identical.

I discovered this when I was testing the new server script execution services. I can't remember if the scripts executed according to the Admin Console clock or the system clock.

Maybe if I upgrade the processors in the Macs they would catch up?
