mattw Posted November 29, 2001 Posted November 29, 2001 Hi, I was trying for a good part of my day to figure out why my pages weren't working after I put in a refresh page to send an email out. I swore I had it set up right, but nothing worked. Well in the end I thought I would try my page through Internet Explorer.... and ahh!! My Question is can this Meta refresh work in IE and Netscape or others? If so how would it be done? Thanks in advance.
Vaughan Posted November 29, 2001 Posted November 29, 2001 Sure meta-refresh works on all browsers. I guess it must be a problem with the URL you are trying to meta-refresh to.
mattw Posted November 29, 2001 Author Posted November 29, 2001 How can the redirect URL work for IE but not when I use Netscape. What I have is: <META HTTP-EQUIV="refresh" content = " 3; URL=FMPro?-db=My db.fp3&-lay=My Layout&... My URL is basically 138.xxx.xx.xx:291 ( :291 is the TCP/IP port 3#) Could it be something with the spaces in the db title or Layout title. ---------- Confused
