extra requests for searches

Featured Replies

is there any way to do the add request in cdml similar to in filemaker itself so that my web users could search for say UK - Baths and then add a new request and search for germany - baths

at the moment i just have a very simple form allowing them to make one request at a time which really limits what they can do on the online version

Yes, you can use the Logical Operator (-lop) with value "or".

Check the "CDML Reference" database for an explanation.

All the best.

Looks like you have discovered a flaw in the logic of the logical operator. Yup, yup, yup.

OK. So there may be another approach. And it may require some creative thinking. But you wouild be well advised to become familiar with the exact search code for web usage. Once understood it allows you many options.
