Raybaudi Posted September 27, 2007 Posted September 27, 2007 Hi all friends can someone confirm that on Mac platform ( some configuration expecially the last ) it's impossible to drag and drop an image from one container to another one ? This isn't true on Windows.
Ender Posted September 27, 2007 Posted September 27, 2007 It works for me. Make sure the option to allow drag and drop is enabled in FileMaker->Preferences.
Raybaudi Posted September 27, 2007 Author Posted September 27, 2007 Hi Ender so why some Mac user said me that this file do not work ? It works on Windows and it is a way to move rows in a portal, much like ScriptMaker ( you'll need EventScript ) spostare_le_righe.zip
Raybaudi Posted September 27, 2007 Author Posted September 27, 2007 Hi Stuart that is very strange !! Even the Help On Line says that you can; and some configuration ** allows to drag and to drop .. ** for example, they said that this configuration works: Max OSX 10.3.9 FMP 8Adv EventScript 1.0 but this doesn't: Tiger 10.4.10 ES 1.1 FM Adv 8 e 8.5
Ender Posted September 27, 2007 Posted September 27, 2007 Perhaps it's something about your graphic. See attached. dragNdrop.fp7.zip
Stuart Taylor Posted September 27, 2007 Posted September 27, 2007 Hi Daniele This may interest you it is a discovery i made that i am meaning to use but you may want to use it as it allows you to do some more complex draging and dropping with ids and data... best Stuart DragonDrop.fp7.zip
Raybaudi Posted September 27, 2007 Author Posted September 27, 2007 Ender, I'm on Win, so both images can be dropped on destination container... isn't the same with Mac ? The picture was a screenshoot saved as png.
Stuart Taylor Posted September 27, 2007 Posted September 27, 2007 hey Ender, Think you got something there Source 1 yes Source 2 no
Ender Posted September 27, 2007 Posted September 27, 2007 Source 1 yes Source 2 no That's what I saw too. I've been able to successfully drag and drop pngs created in Photoshop on my Mac, so I'm not sure where the problem lies. Somehow, we should be able to blame this on Windows. :(
Raybaudi Posted September 27, 2007 Author Posted September 27, 2007 This may interest you it is a discovery i made Nice discovery, Stuart :(
