find related or perform find?

Hi ive made an invoice report with the layout's record source being line items. what is the best way to view an invoice, by the 'finding related records' (which clutters up the relationship graph) or just perform a find?

Personally, it's a find in a data view, (layout with only data on it in table view), and then a hop to the invoice.
