stuj1026 Posted October 2, 2007 Posted October 2, 2007 Anyone know of a plugin for FM9 that would allow me to create zip files Thanks Stu
Fenton Posted October 3, 2007 Posted October 3, 2007 I don't know if there is a plug-in specifically for this. But there is a free open source tool, http://www.7-zip.org/ If you use another command line plug-in, such as the free Abstrakt Shell plug-in, or fmwebschool's Spyder plug-in (which I don't know how to get unfortunately, it was in their September newsletter), then you can run the zip tool above with that. I'm mostly on Mac; so I have this stuff, but have not actually tried it yet. We have zip command line capability built-in on Macs (but you still got to write the code -)
Adam Dempsey Posted October 3, 2007 Posted October 3, 2007 My Plugin MooPlug (http://mooplug.com) Supports creation of Zip files, but it currently is only for windows. Also it can only add 1 file to a zip atm, but will change that soon :)
stuj1026 Posted October 3, 2007 Author Posted October 3, 2007 hmmm that seems like it might work for me . I have a zip file already created on my drive and I need to add a file to it. Can this be done using moo_zipcompress(sfile)? and if so, what is the syntax. Thanks for your help Stu
Adam Dempsey Posted November 8, 2007 Posted November 8, 2007 Sorry for the really late reply, It doesn't support adding to existing files atm, I can add it in though, will just have to think how to go about implementing it :)
