Anyone know of a plugin for FM9 that would allow me to create zip files

Thanks Stu

I don't know if there is a plug-in specifically for this. But there is a free open source tool,

http://www.7-zip.org/

If you use another command line plug-in, such as the free Abstrakt Shell plug-in, or fmwebschool's Spyder plug-in (which I don't know how to get unfortunately, it was in their September newsletter), then you can run the zip tool above with that.

I'm mostly on Mac; so I have this stuff, but have not actually tried it yet. We have zip command line capability built-in on Macs (but you still got to write the code :)-)

My Plugin MooPlug (http://mooplug.com) Supports creation of Zip files, but it currently is only for windows. Also it can only add 1 file to a zip atm, but will change that soon :)

hmmm that seems like it might work for me . I have a zip file already created on my drive and I need to add a file to it. Can this be done using

moo_zipcompress(sfile)? and if so, what is the syntax.

Thanks for your help

Stu

Sorry for the really late reply, It doesn't support adding to existing files atm, I can add it in though, will just have to think how to go about implementing it :)
