grumbachr Posted October 18, 2007 Posted October 18, 2007 Is this even possible by with one script? I haven't worked through it all yet but here what I'm hoping to do. I have a list of people some adults some minors. I want to send a reminder letter to all of them but for HIPAA (or HIPPA) reasons I can't send letters directly to a minors. So we have two layouts one form for adults one for the minors. I want to be able to print letter for the found set but have them print on the write form. I guess if I can't have it print on two layouts I could use a Case() to print the write body.
FestiveEmbalmer Posted October 18, 2007 Posted October 18, 2007 Seems to me you could have a looping script print a form for each record in your found set, taking you to a different layout for minors but... Wouldn't it be more efficient to script/peform each find separately, though? That way you could print forms for all your adults and then minors without having to wait for the script to complete?
grumbachr Posted October 18, 2007 Author Posted October 18, 2007 I had some of the same concerns, so using a calculated field for the body might be the easiest way to go.
FestiveEmbalmer Posted October 18, 2007 Posted October 18, 2007 I learned alot about letter forms from a file vaughan posted in the sample files section of the forum. http://fmforums.com/forum/showtopic.php?tid/99166/
