Hello all,

Any help with this problem would be greatly appreciated. The FM 8.5 database installed in my secretary's computer will only "print to file". Why this happened is beyond me, but I haven't been able to find out how to turn this off and get the DB to print normally (direct to printer). We are having to export layouts as PDFs to be able to print.

Sounds like the database has scripted printing, which means you do not see the Print dialog box, and therefore cannot change it. If this is the case, Check the default settings for the printer (Start-Printer/Faxes, right click default printer and check the properties).
