K1200
I have a nice Close script that does housekeeping for my application and I have it prominently listed in the first entry of a custom menu set. But when the runtime is built, FileMaker slaps the "Exit (Ctrl+Q) entry right below it -- which, if the user selects instead, will bypass my nice script. I know this is probably some "Microsoft convention", but has anyone found a way to either 1) remove the Exit entry or 2) have it execute my script. Any help will be appreciated. IdealData
You can set the file options to perform a specific script when closing the file.
K1200
Thanks, Ideal Data. That will solve the main problem, which is to make certain the housekeeping is done. I completely forgot about that alternative when I got involved in trying to remove their entry from the menu (which I would still like to find a way to do).
