If you delete the Server Admin app shortcut, it seems you can never get it to come back. Somewhere in the past I solved this problem but cannot remember how and cannot find any instructions.

Note that the answer didn't work.

I found if you go to:

http://www.yourdomain.com:16000/

and start the admin app from there, it will place a new copy of the .app on your desktop. You can then move that wherever you want and double-click to launch in the future.
