Conditional velue portal row ?

Is it the way in fp9 to create every second row in portal to be in different color using conditional formating?

Don’t like to use Alternate background fill because portal is filtered and have different number of rows from record to record.

I don't quite get it, is just that portal-lines with data which recieves coloring?
