Hi all, I need to copy my portal by selection item to other portal layout.

At my main file I create a new record with portal item, and now I need to copy the record and selection portal Item to my Main 2 layout.

Can this done?

I think you are going to be asked several times "what are you really trying to do?" ie you need to give context and purpose...

In particular it looks as though you are trying to duplicate data - which is not usually the correct way to go.

NB I am not saying its always "not right" - there are some very good reasons for de-normalising (duplicating) data but without some indication of purpose and context it is difficult/impossible to help.

As an initial response you would probably solve your issue by relationships/table occurences rather than a scripted data copying routine.
