Which version of FM is appropriate for me?

Hello. I am new to modern FM. I used FM years ago, but that was limited at best. I have working knowledge of the basics, but not FM's advanced features. I have a OS X 10.5 server running some

web apps currently and want to integrate FM into this server.

Which version of FM would work for me? I have about 12 users who would be creating, editing and searching entries in multiple databases. Not all users would be using the databases all of the time. The databases would be mostly starting and ending points for tasks and as references for other information. I like the ease of the web interface and not needing to install FM on client Macs. Down the road, the system may include Windows PCs as well.

I am trying to find a starting point for this project. Hopefully it can be done without too much trouble. I like what I have tested with FM8.5PA, but have not tried anything with FM9 yet. Cost makes me want to stay with FM9P or FM9PA, but if this just can not be done without the server version, I may be able to push to get resources and go that route.

Thanks in advance

You have no option but to get FM Server Advanced as you have more than the 5 (web) users that FM8.5 (or 9) will support.

You will also need your own copy of FMP9 to create your databases. Get the advanced version.

That's what I was thinking from reading the spec sheets, but figured I would ask the users to see first. $3k is a bit steep, but this would really help streamline a few processes in my users' workflows. Thanks!
