Local USB printer shooting blanks

Hello,

I'm the de facto FileMaker guy at my company. My supervisor expects me to fix a problem he's having with FM. He has a little laser printer connected locally to his machine via USB. When he opens an FM file from the server, he can print just fine. However, as soon as he opens one of the files on his local system, FM (or the printer) will only kick out blank pages.

I've already checked the size of layout parts, updated the printer to the latest drivers, etc. I have no idea why only blank pages come out of the printer. Printing works fine from other applications. It's only from FM after having opened a local file.
