Well, it seems they tried a bit to make it more friendly. But little things can be quite irritating, such as: I just selected action 'Close All' and all the files dutifully closed. But it bothers me a lot that the icon still shows that the databases are open. What in heavens is wrong with words as well? It's not like they are short on space!

And why can't there be a simple button which, when clicked, can back up the files right then? If there's a way, I haven't found it yet. Currently I have to set a schedule (manual) and change the date time to future. It is so unfriendly.

And why, when you close the databases, does it produce a message (which looks like an error), saying, 'The databaser Server is not available' ... well no kidding since I just turned it off - that is NOT the time to pop up a message like that. It should say, "the database server has been closed." It acts like you've made a dumb mistake when all you've done is what you should.

I think that, whomever desiged the FMS console also designed (and is in charge of) the import/export dialog boxes.

AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA... that being said... you're probably right

I am not totally pleased with the Console either. But the Server team and the Pro teams are totally different.
